Her mother, Geraldine, was a yoga teacher and astrologer. She has a younger sister, Ashley, and a half-brother, Christian.
Artistic Career
Samantha began her career as an artist in the early 1990s and was part of the Young British Artists group. She later shifted her focus to filmmaking. In 1994, she had her only acting role in the film "A Man and a Woman". In the late 1990s, she made her directorial debut with the film "Misfit" (1996).
Personal Life
From 1997 to 2009, Taylor-Johnson was married to art dealer Jay Jopling, with whom she has two daughters: Angelica Jopling (born on April 24, 1997) and Jessie Phoenix Jopling (born in November 2005).
Since June 21, 2012, Taylor-Johnson has been married to actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, whom she dated for three years prior to their wedding. They have two daughters together: Wylda Rae Johnson (born on July 7, 2010) and Romy Hero Johnson (born on January 18, 2012).
Personal Struggles
Taylor-Johnson has battled cancer twice in her life. In December 1997, she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. In 2000, she was also diagnosed with breast cancer.
